"Being contradicting" OR "Being contradicted"?
- But you said just now that you see his opinion as logical.
- Maybe being contradicting is a side effect of feeling awful.
Thanks

Hello
Neither is correct. I think you mean to say 'Maybe being contradictory is a side effect of feeling awful.'
'To be contradicted' means that someone else says the opposite of what you've said is true. 'To be contradictory' means that you yourself say two things that have the opposite meaning. There is no such thing as 'being contradicting' in English.

it depends on the context of the sentence. For me it is a little unclear what is going on in this passage from what I assume to be a story.
What you have here essentially is the present and past participle of contradict. contradicting (present) contradicted )past)
being contradicted. means that someone is saying the opposite of what the speaker is saying. for example: the boss did not like being contradicted by the junior member of the firm at the meeting this morning.
being contradicting is a less common phrase as far as I know. Tom is being contradicting all day today. Every thing I say he says the opposite and it is driving me crazy.
This sentence is a bit strange though and I would say is not common english.
