j'ai diplômé ou je suis diplômé ? which is correct ?

J'ai un diplôme. *************= "I have a diploma", it's not I have diplomed. or "je suis diplômé" ******which is also correct, kinda like passive form of "to diplome" in the English, something like "I have been diplomed".
