Hello, First of all, I should warn you that I'm not a native speaker, so take anything I say with a pinch of salt :) "Hot" in Serbian, when talking about the weather, is "vruć". By the way, I believe "today is cold" should be "danas je zima" or, using "hladan" instead, "hladno je". Hope this helps, Alvin

Danas je vruć dan - today is very hot day Danas je topao dan - today is hot, warm zima - winter, cold whether hladan dan - cold day svež dan - fresh day

"Day is cold" should be "Dan je hladan" "It'd cold today"="Danas je hladno"
