How do you say "is the offer still valid?" in Chinese?
Someone offered to help me with Chinese a year ago. I'd like to say that I'd like to take her up on that offer.

but it is strange to Chinese.

in your case, offer means 提议，she offer to help you learning Chinese. 你之前的previous /before 提议（the offer）还有sitll 效 valid 吗？

Usually, we don't say "is the offer still valid?"(这个提供帮助的承诺还有效吗？), we prefer to say "Shall I still ask for your help?"(我还能请您帮助我吗？)
