handsome or beautiful
A girl writes about her idial partner and tries to describe his appearance. She doesn't want him to be more "beautiful" or "handsome " than she is. Which word is correct?
He is not more beautiful than me.

Usually beautiful refers to the female species and handsome refers to the male species, but beautiful can also refer to inner beauty, which is applied to all.

Handsome sounds better in my opinion.

Handsome would sound much better. You could also say: "He is cuter than me".
