involved ''I was involved in the trouble'' Is the grammer of this sentence correct?If it is correct, let me know the differnce between ''be involved'' and ''get involved''

To be involved means that you are already involved, whereas to get involved means you are not yet involved but will be. I think the sentence "I was involved in the trouble" is technically correct but it sounds odd because there is no context as to what the trouble is.
