It should be: "Malasado ang itlog kasi hindi ito naluto ng matagal" or "Malasado ang itlog dahil hindi ito naluto ng matagal." Both literally mean "the egg is soft-boiled because it wasn't cooked long enough." The direct translation of the word "soft" in Tagalog is "malambot." However, if we are referring to food, we use the word "malasado" to signify that it is soft-boiled. The word "long" is directly translated in Tagalog as "mahaba." But if we want to say "long time," we use the word "matagal." Hope this helps. :)

CORRECT: "aiming for hard boiled egg" Malambot pa yung itlog kasi hindi mo pinakuluan ng maigi. note: Malasado: soft boiled egg [another way of cooking eggs]

It should be "Malambot ang itlog kasi hindi naluto nang matagal" The word "nang" should be used and NOT "ng" If using "ng" it will literally mean, "The egg is soft because it wasn't cooked by long" as if like "long" is the one that cooked the egg. This is a common confusion. The use of "nang" and "ng" Thanks.

I'd like someone to check the Tagalog sentence. Sorry if my question was confusing or misleading! I've edited it to be more clear.

The egg is soft because it wasn’t cooked long enough :) Alternative: Because it wasn’t cooked for a long time.
