Qual preposição — "em" ou "a" — deve ser usado no expressão "trepar ... árvores" (climb trees)?

Seria "em árvores" o correto. :D

Se for no plural use "em/nas árvores".
No singular use "na árvore".
na = em+a

Na expressão mencionada, o correto seria "Trepar em árvores" porque quem trepa, trepa em algo, em alguma coisa! Espero ter ajudado, mando um forte abraço! :D
