Can anyone let me know what the German word is for hot-dog i.e. a frankfurter sausage in a bread roll?

der Hot Dog
Hot dog is not as common in Germany as the Hamburger.
Hot Dog ist in Deutschland nicht so verbreitet (/normal) wie der Hamburger.
"Frankfurter /Wiener Würstchen im Brötchen"
would be a real Frankfurter/Wiener sausage in a bread roll. Without sauerkraut.
wäre ein richtiges Frankfurter/Wiener Würstchen in einem Brötchen. Ohne Sauerkraut.
