the grammar like: would have been V.ed. in oral english
couple days ago ,i've watched a movie,kick-ass.but a sentence confused me and it appear repeatedly,so i really want to know this grammar.
i will show you 2 subtitles:
1.i woundn't have been scared anyways.
2.but if you called it fantasizing,it would have been hard to argue.
the construction is would have +been V.ed ,right?
i can got the meaning of both,but cannot understand of its grammar

The modal "would" can be used with a linking verb....would + linking verb + adjective
or a passive verb form....................................................would + passive verb
Present tense
1) I am not scared anyway......."scared" is either adjective or past participle of passive "to scare".
2) It is hard to argue..................."hard" is an adjective with the linking verb "to be"
3 It is written by her hand..........."written" is past participle of passive verb form of "to write".
Past tense
1) I was not scared anyway.
2) It was hard to argue
3) It was written by her hand.
Present Perfect
1) I haven't been scared anyway.
2) It has been hard to argue.
3) It has been written by her hand.
Conditional l can express a possible real condition.
1) I would not be scared anyway.
2) It would be hard to argue.
3) It would be written by her hand.
Conditional ll expresses a theoretical or unreal condition.
1) I would not have been scared anyway.
2) It would have been hard to argue.
3) It would have been written by her hand.

Romulus is correct and the word "anyways "is slang for "anyway"

hi,
actually the Conditional Perfect Progressive tense is formed as: "would + have + been + infinitive + ing." it emphasizes something that might have happened in the past, but It's too late now.
'I wouldn't have been going if you advised me earlier.'
"she would have been calling you if her father did not arrive."
I just hope you're not referring to the word 'scared' as a verb where in fact it functions as an adjective.
