兰州拉面 is my favorite fastfood in China. Low in oil and fat, good carbos for energy. And it's quick and cheap. 腐乳通菜 is interesting too (or alternatively 虾酱通菜). On the salad side 老虎菜 tastes really strange, still very good. All is hard to get outside China. Can we include Hong Kong food? Then I want to ad 楊枝金露 = yeung zi gam lo. Baozi or Dumplings. I found these delicious, stuffed and steamed dumplings at the food section of the local Carrefour store in Shao Xing. Yummmm. Also, my great desire has been to try 'Yue Bing'. I have only seen the pictures. Can I say something that I have not eaten is my favorite food? :-) Your question makes me hungry :-))
