'I'm between jobs.' It means 'I have many jobs',or 'I have no job'?

No job. You've finished one, but not started the next. Often used as a way of saying that you are unemployed, but only when 'job' refers to your occupation, not when the 'job' is a piece of work within your current employment.

It means, I happen to be temporarily unemployed at the moment--could also indicate that the person is currently seeking a new job; hence he/she is in a phase/state of between.
