There is a subtle difference between "large" and "big" .
Example: 'Large' refers to all types of measuring things which are measured by
length and breadth.
'Big' implies all types of things which are measured by size.
Numbers are implied by 'large.'
Effort is implied by 'big.'
Projects are also referred to as 'big.'
