DRIVE A WEDGE: Their breakup have droven a wedge between the two of them. CONDONE: Violent conduct is not condoned in this school. RUN BY: I have some ideas I'd like to run you by. WHIP UP: The group have been very active on social media in order to whip up their fans for their concert next week. I whipped up some sandwhiches in a hurry because I was late to work. SPONGE OFF: My brother's been sponging off food of me since he lost his job. JACK UP: Oil prices have jacked up tremendously. This song gets me all jacked up when I'm working out. WRITHE: She was writhing in pain on the ground. YAMMER: He spent the whole weekend yammering away about his date with some girl he met online. QUALM: He told everyone his brother's secret with no qualms whatsoever. UNSCATHED: She got away from the accident completely unscathed. GRIMACE: They grimaced on seeing what she was wearing. SHUDDER: Just the thought of losing her makes me shudder. SKIMP: Just because you're broke it doesn't mean you have to skimp on food and clothes.
