In many countries, people now wear western-style dress rather than traditional clothing. Why is this?
Is this a positive or negative development?
In many countries, people wear suits and jeans instead of traditional clothing. In my opinion, this is primarily caused by the facilitation of movement and physical condition management. Personally, I consider this change to be positive in view of company profit and time efficiency.
One of major contributing factors is that western-style dress such as suits and jeans make it possible for people to move more easily than traditional cloths. In fact, clothing designers try to make suits and jeans which allow workers to work easily and comfortably because jeans and suits equire stretch material when they are made.
On the other hand, Japanese traditional cloth is Kimono, which prevents people from working smoothly, because the sleeves are obstacle. Another reason is that it is possible to regulate body temperature by wearing western style dress. It is easier to take off and put on than traditional clothes, while a kimono requires no jacket and people have to be patient with it even when it is hot or cold.
This trend is positive development, because wearing suits and jeans is likely to increase productivity. Specifically, people can concentrate on work by wearing comfortable cloth. Preventing people from working smoothly and being unable to control physical temperature causes loss of concentration, but wearing cloths which have improved these troubles can reduce the cause of decrease of concentration.
In conclusion, I would argue that this is because it is easy to move and do thermoregulation. Also, this change is positive because, work efficiency will increase and the time can be saved.

Is this a positive or negative development?
In many countries, people wear suits / jackets and jeans instead of traditional clothing. In my opinion, this is primarily because these clothes facilitate movement and are more comfortable. Personally, I consider this change to be positive, especially regarding the profits of the companies and their time management efficiency.
One of the main contributing factors is that western-style clothes such as suits and jeans make it possible for people to move more easily than traditional cloths. In fact, clothe designers try to make suits and jeans which allow workers to work easily and comfortably because jeans and suits are made of stretchable material / fabric.
On the other hand, Kimono is a Japanese traditional clothe, which prevents people from working smoothly, because the sleeves are an obstacle. Another reason is that it is possible to regulate our body temperature by wearing western style clothes. It is easier to take off and put on western style clothes compared to traditional clothes while a kimono requires no jacket and people have to be patient with it even when it is hot or cold.
This development represents a positive trend because wearing suits and jeans is likely to increase productivity. People can especially concentrate on their work by wearing comfortable clothes. Preventing people from working smoothly and being unable to control their own body temperature can cause a loss of concentration, but wearing clothes that can solve these troubles will reduce concentration loss issues.
In conclusion, I would argue that this is because western style clothes make movements and thermoregulation easier. Also, this change is positive because work efficiency will increase and time will be easily saved as a consequence.
