It might depend on the culture of the school, the country it's in etc. It's not a terrible word - like the f bomb, but it's kind of crude. Just to be safe, I wouldn't use it in the classroom, unless you're familiar enough with a certain teacher that you know it won't bother them. "made them angry" will work - also you can look up other expressions.
