Enjoying life isn't a matter of age.
Regardless of a person's age, enjoy life is a matter of perspective; someone can be really sad whichever circumstances he is living. Someone that has less wealth and less family support or social life, can be more happy that a person who "has a god life." And this could be just for the social environment or the previous experiences of a person.
In our society a teenager usually has an environment in which social interaction is frequent, thus he has the possibility to find great friends, and at the same time, as students, teenagers have more time for fun, but less freedom for do whatever they want.
At mid age, adults oftenly have a lot of work to do, and great responsibilities, in this way, it could be a little bit more stressful life. An adult have to care for other persons, therefore have less time at disposal for joy, but, at the same time they have money and freedom.
When old, people have a lot of time at hand, but possibly they will not be as healty as young ones, so they could be limited for travel or do different things that will give their joy.
As it can be seen in all ages people have different benefits and maybe disadvantages regarding the possibility of happiness and joy. And is important to note that human beings have pretty different lives, and moreover different forms of approach problems. And at the same time people have different ideas of what joy mean or happiness. So I think that age isn't a condition to be happy or not. It's more the way a person approach each day, what makes him enjoy life or not.

Teachers' participation on Television.
The lecture and the reading passage discuss the benefits and disadvantages for different sectors of society when a professor appears on Tv. Basically the passage state that all people is benefit with this participation, and the lecture oppose that ideas.
first the passage states that a professor gets better general reputation appearing on television because he can reach another public, different from the academic society, on the other hand, in the lecture the professor explain that this is not true at all, because oftenly a teacher who does that appearances get a bad reputation among academic researchers, and is labeled as a not serious researcher, so in this way he will probably become exclude from important academic meetings.
Another idea of the passage is that a university will receive better reputation from this participation of its professors, but the lecture states that a teacher that has this constant participation on television will have less time for research or for student attention.
Finally the passage talks about the public in general, and states that this community gets benefit from appearance of professors in Tv because in this way, they, the community, will have another point of view with better background or knowledge. About this idea the lecture states that the network ,responsible for the transmission of the program, don't care to much about the information, and presented in a similar way that its traditional content. Therefore the information given isn’t especial.

When to sail?
the preference in the accurate time to being independent as a young adult are varied, some individuals prefer get out of the house as soon as possible but others just want to maintain his place as long as their fathers left them, I prefer the second option, and this is basically for the next reasons:
being with my parents allow us to spent less time in certain activities in the house, for example at the hour of cleaning each one can take some activities, and as a hole we are faster, it's the same when we talk about the expenses of the house; if more people live in the same house the consume of services will be major, but at the same time paying the bills will be easier, for example in my house, my mother helps with the food, my father with the services bills and my sister with the payment of the house (if my sister were living on his own she will probably spent more money).
Of course you have some disadvantage living with yours parents, this is the case when you don't like some rules of the house; if you have to stay at certain hours, or inform of your activities, it could be tiring and maybe you can't make parties at home as freely as if you were alone, in my situation this is not a problem, though I don't make parties, I constantly get out with my friends and just inform (occasionally) if I will stay in the house of someone, so it's not really a bother.
I really enjoy being with my parents at this age (I’m 24) I can save money for travel or for my future studies, and as I have not girlfriend it´s nice to see them each day.
