Great first session

This has been one of my worst experiences on Italki. I booked 5 lessons with Omy—she never showed up once. The first missed lesson was due to a time zone issue on my end (Paraguay was supposed to change the time, but exceptionally didn’t this year), and I still apologized. After that, she kept canceling last minute with odd excuses like rain, blackouts, or emergencies, without ever properly apologizing. I even validated some lessons just to be kind, even though she was absent. She responded rarely, gave vague replies, and misled me about her availability. I wasted 5 paid hours, along with time and energy. This behavior seriously damages Italki’s credibility. Please review this case—teachers like this should not remain on the platform.
