Mijn naam is Kiki. Ik ben geboren en getogen in Nederland.
I'm open, social and creative. The most important thing in my life is learning and enjoying. I also look at what opportunities the moment offers.
I've always been curious. I like to travel and meet people. However, I didn't make time for that during my studies. With 30 years on the clock, I know that life is not forever. I hope to learn a lot about life here and to contribute with my creativity and open mind. I also hope to have nice conversations and to get a different perspective.

On Italki I'm the same cheerful lady as in real life.
I already love that you want to be there, because teaching one-on-one is heaven compared to a room full of uninterested teenagers who are forced by the law to study. Motivation is a big contributor for learning.
The most important thing is that you develop a sense of language through repetition and that you learn to express yourself in Dutch. That you dare to speak.
You will develop through mistakes and trial and error.

If you - as pupil - do not have a request I give theme-oriented Dutch lessons with self-designed teaching materials.
It usually starts with introducing yourself in Dutch and exploring expectations.
After this, it can be about different themes such as:
practicing pronunciation using the alphabet, colours, numbers, telling the time, body parts, feelings and emotions, going to the doctor, vehicles and traveling by public transport.
The goal is to make my students enjoy learning. The content focuses on everyday language use. The lessons are focused on conversation, grammar is discussed, but is not the starting point. Honestly I only cover the grammar when you, the client, asks questions.สื่อการสอนของฉัน
