I'm Tahneé, born and raised in the Netherlands. In 2019, I graduated as a Teacher Assistant. After my study, I worked in different international elementary schools, where I helped kids to improve their English and Dutch. Now, I live in Bali, Indonesia, where I'm creating a healthy balance between work and enjoying life to the fullest.
Mijn naam is Tahneé en ik ben geboren in Nederland. In 2019 ben ik afgestudeerd als Onderwijs Assistente. Na mijn studie heb ik op verschillende internationale basisscholen gewerkt, waar ik kinderen heb geholpen om hen Engels en Nederlands te verbeteren. Nu woon ik in Bali, waar ik een gezonde balans aan het creëren ben tussen werk en volop genieten.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
My native language is Dutch. Through my travels and work as a Teacher assistant, I've learned to speak English (So I know how it feels to learn a new language). Know that It's human to feel a bit scared at the beginning if you're trying something new. But I promise you this in a supportive environment. It can be fun (Pinky swear!).
Mijn moedertaal is Nederlands. Door het reizen en werken als Onderwijs Assistente heb ik Engels leren spreken (dus ik weet hoe het voelt om een nieuwe taal te leren). Weet dat het menselijk is om in het begin een beetje bang te zijn als je iets nieuws probeert. Based on your goals, I'm happy to discuss the learning techniques with you. We can practice your conversation skills and pronunciation. If you need more challenges, I can always add some extra spice to it. I can also prepare you for your language exams (DUO, NT2).
Even if you feel insecure, don't worry. You're not alone in this ;).
Op basis van jouw leerdoelen bespreek ik graag met jou de lessen. We kunnen je gespreksvaardigheden en uitspraak oefenen. Als je meer uitdaging nodig hebt, dan kan ik er altijd wat extra pit aan toevoegen. Ik kan je ook voorbereiden op je taalexamens (DUO, NT2).

Tahnee is an amazing teacher (and person) and I would recommend her to anyone as she is so friendly and professional.
My daughter of 7 who understands Dutch very well but doesn't speak it much (she always answers in English to me) is learning Dutch with her. We have only taken 3 lessons so far but we already see a major improvement. My daughter feels so at ease and even though she is actually very shy with people she doesn't know, Tahnee makes her feel confident and she dares to speak out loud. We are so happy we met Tahnee and chose her!

Tahneé is a great teacher. She listened to all my semi-okay Dutch and gave me helpful corrections and the correct way to say things—all without interruping the flow of the lesson. I highly recommend working with Tahneé to learn Dutch!
