Really good lessons! I appreciate how flexible she is with lesson time and her engagement in the class. She has a good mastery of Urdu which is obviously a necessity for language learning. Her worksheets are well organized and super helpful for basic learning.

I would recommend Sumayiah who is a great Urdu teacher ! She is always timely and committed to my progress. Each lesson is tailored to the specific topics I would like to explore, hence i always feel each lesson is relevant.

She consistently made sure I was actually learning by using active recall, which was very helpful. She's such a great teacher. :)

Sumayia brings me so much joy, and she has had such a positive effect on my life as a Muslim. As someone learning Tajweed, having her lovely maqamat influence mine is so valuable. Allahumma barik Iaha. 🕋

I needed someone passionate and devoted to Islam like Sumayia to help me to improve my deen, someone whose recitations bring such comfort when I hear them and who provides so much support to me as a relatively new Muslim (though I’ve felt less and less “new” the more time I’ve spent with her).
