Muneeb Ahmed

A great lesson of Urdu with Muneeb! (The second one, actually.) We've already done with phonetics and proceeded to the basics of grammar. Muneeb is a fascinating teacher: he's very passionate, knowledgeable, kind, patient and supportive. He's also a very pleasant and engaging person. It is always interesting to chat with him. I will definitely continue studying Urdu with Muneeb. Thank you so much, Muneeb-saahab! See you!

A superb introductory lesson! After a careful assessment of my language background, Mr. Muneeb presented materials that built upon that foundation. In his lesson delivery, he was confident, personable, and very well prepared. An excellent teacher demonstrates sound judgment and attention to detail in his interactions with the student; Mr. Muneeb is such a teacher, and I expect that he will be very successful teaching Urdu on italki. I am already looking forward to my next lesson!

Another excellent lesson with Muneeb bhai. We learned about poetic devices used in Urdu poetry and discussed some current events. Very gratfeful for his efforts.

Muneeb was a great teacher. He knew I had some background in Farsi and used that to explain some Urdu concepts to me. He provided lesson documents for me to use, which was helpful, and now I can revisit them. It felt very structured, which is what I need out of language learning. I have a tiny amount of background in Urdu, but I want to make sure my foundation is strong before moving forward so we started at the beginning with vowels, the alphabet, pronouns, and sentences. I really enjoyed going through sentences. He said he'll help me learn to read Nastaliq so that I can do it independent of him. Practising sentences makes me feel like I'll be close to conversational soon! He was prompt in showing up at our scheduled time. We had some connectivity issues, but it's difficult to tell which one of us had the connection problem, or if it was both of us! It was probably me, because he was saying he could see/hear me OK throughout, but I was losing him/he was freezing.

Muneeb is a great teacher who tailors his lessons according to the student's capabilities. His vast knowledge of Urdu poetry and literature facilitates for very interesting and engaging lessons. I would highly recommend him!
