Hello, I am an experienced teacher currently working with college students, and I have also taught high school students. Throughout my career, I have provided private lessons in various language courses. During this time, I have developed strong communication skills, both interpersonal and intrapersonal. My passion for teaching comes from a deep love for my native language: its melodic sweetness, its warmth and traditions, and the rich character that make it one of the oldest languages in Europe. I am eager to share this love and heritage with others.
I consider myself a passionate language teacher, and I see the opportunity to share my knowledge with students eager to learn a new language and its culture as a meaningful way to connect with others. Helping them feel free to express themselves in Albanian is not only rewarding, but also a powerful way to introduce this beautiful and often unfamiliar language to the world.
My teaching style focuses on creating a comfortable environment where students feel free to express their opinions and use their language skills with confidence. Each lesson is tailored to the student's needs and the specific area they wish to focus on—whether it's reading, writing, speaking, or listening. Additionally, Italki offers me an excellent opportunity to teach both the Gheg and Tosk dialects to learners who want a deeper and more authentic connection with the Albanian language.

I am very excited to do my next lesson with Florentina. She sent me textbooks and told me we would be working on communicating in different scenarios and that she would be assigning some homework to continue learning on my own. I also like how focussed she is on the Gheg dialect specifically as I am studying in order to go to Kosovo. All in all I love the fast paced style and I definitely look forward to continuing with this teacher.

I’ve been taking Albanian lessons with Florentina for almost a year now and she is truly an amazing teacher. Both of my parents are Albanians from Kosovo and I have always struggled speaking the language (despite understanding it). She has been so kind and patient throughout all of our lessons, challenging me every class. You can tell she truly cares about her students and helping them reach their full potential. I never thought I’d reach the point of gaining more confidence in speaking Albanian, and I could not be more grateful to have found Florentina.

had my first lesson with Florentina, and I felt comfortable right from the start. She took her time with me and really focused on my individual needs. She explained everything very clearly and patiently, which made it easy to understand. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, and learning with her is genuinely fun. I’m already looking forward to the next lessons!
