Hi, I’m Jean! 👋 I was born and raised in Korea, and I’ve also lived in Canada and England. Because of that, I speak both Korean and English fluently and have a deep understanding of different cultures. This helps me explain Korean in ways that are clear, practical, and easy to connect with.
I enjoy spending time outdoors — hiking, camping, and exploring nature. I also love pottery, crochet, and cooking!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
As a teacher, I focus on creating lessons that are student-centered, supportive, and practical. I know that learning a new language can feel intimidating at times, so I make sure my students always feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions — because that’s how real learning happens.
I also like to make lessons interactive and engaging by drawing on real aspects of Korean culture — like K-dramas, K-pop, food, and art. This way, you’re not just studying the language, but experiencing the culture that shapes it.

I offer lessons tailored to your level and goals — whether you’re just starting with Hangul or want to improve your Korean conversation skills.
I offer two types of lessons:
✨ Structured Lessons with a textbook to help you learn Hangul, build essential grammar skills, and practice everyday vocabulary step by step
✨ Conversation Lessons using topics that interest you. I’ll gently correct your sentences, introduce natural expressions, and help you speak with more confidence and fluency.
