Anouk is a great teacher. She was very warm and friendly and set a chill and comfortable place to learn. The conversation flowed and I found I was really able to use my Dutch and express myself in the lesson. I would recommend!

Anouk is a FABULOUS teacher! She was energetic, positive, and patient letting the lesson unfold naturally to my very beginner skill level. She totally gets that language is different for everyone and thus requires customization to each person’s learning preference, confidence, and goals. She noticed I struggled with a few letter combinations so we practiced just those for a few mins and then basic words using those combinations, with an emphasis on “g” and “ui” sounds. Then she gave me recommendations for online places to learn and Spotify podcasts so I can train in between our lessons. Looking forward to more time with Anouk!!

Anouk is an incredibly energetic and positive person. She notices mistakes during conversations and corrects them in a very natural and helpful way, without interrupting the flow. You can talk to her about absolutely any topic, and she always keeps the conversation engaging. Most importantly, she is patient and genuinely listens to your clumsy attempts to speak Dutch, which makes you feel comfortable and confident. Learning with her is both effective and enjoyable!

Anouk was very enthusiastic and encouraging. The lesson passed by quickly because she made it feel easy and fun, which rarely happens with other teachers. I find it very valuable when starting to learn another language from 0. Thank you so much!
