 -- personal information -- I majored in Arabic language at the University of Amsterdam. I have lived in few countries and learned a lot about different languages and cultures. I have been teaching Dutch professionally for six years now. I have made many videos on YouTube about language learning of which many have reached 100k+ views and a few even 1m+ views. In my free time I enjoy discovering new hobbies and learning new things. I like to drink coffee and tea, bake pizza, talk with friends, read about a wide variety of topics and walk in the city or nature. --about my teaching style-- I guide my students through their learning journey and enjoy teaching them Dutch language and culture. I want my students to feel comfortable but challenged at the same time. I love listening to their stories, and nothing makes me prouder than seeing their progress and becoming more fluent in Dutch! Had my first trial lesson today. Even though it was just 30 min, we managed to get a good understanding of my language level and what actions to take next. My impression is that Timothy knows what he is doing, he's very friendly and professional. Looking forward to many more lessons with him :)
