I am not only a teacher, but also a student! As an adult I have studied languages from beginner level, both in a traditional classroom, and also on italki. This means I really understand the student experience, and how important it is that the teacher creates professional, student focused lessons.
My lessons are relaxed and friendly - nobody learns well when they are stressed! I am supportive and professional, ensuring that the lesson aims are met, and that you are given additional homework if you need/want it.

My main approach to teaching is 'personalisation'. This means that everything we study will be put into practice in a way that helps you. There is no point in studying vocabulary, grammar and functions, unless you know how to use them. It also means that the lessons are centred around your goals, and all your lessons will be planned based on your requirements.
I also believe in the value of an immersive language experience. You can create this even if you don't live in a country that speaks your target language. I will give you homework, and study advice that will help you to achieve this!
