Dutch TeacherI have been teaching Dutch to friends, and friends of friends in my free time. I really love(d) it and decided to professionalize it. As of the beginning of 2020 this is my major job.
2013 - 2018
Project and Volunteer ManagerResponsible for coordinating events, planning and implementing projects with the children´s program. I was a teacher for children in the ages from 5 till 14 years old. The kids were Spanish or Mayan speaking and I taught them Spanish, English, and Dutch.
Also responsible for the volunteer recruiting process and and managing volunteer schedules, training, and support. I ensured that volunteers were effectively integrated into the program and that their contributions were maximized.

Het is heel fijn om Irma als lerares te hebben, ik voel me heel vrij om me te uiten en we praten altijd over veel dingen, het belangrijkste is de kwaliteit en ze geeft ALTIJD kwaliteitslessen. Ze gebruikt een document waarin ze alle fouten opschrijft en ze legt ze altijd uit, ze heeft echt plezier in het lesgeven en dat is duidelijk! :)

As a beginner who is new to the Dutch language, I find Irma's teaching style and choice of lesson material is well tailored to my own learning objectives and current abilities.
