I specialise in weaving Indonesian language with Borneo’s rainforest wisdom—where grammar meets ancestral stories and scientific curiosity dances with tradition. Growing up foraging and learning from my mother’s oral heritage, I teach Indonesian as a living tapestry: immersive, interconnected, and rooted in the rhythms of nature. Being myself a science journalist and a travel writer, I was first attracted by Diana’s profile who, in addition of being a teacher, is also a biologist and a poet. So many skills and qualities that she uses for her teaching, making my study a moment of pleasure during which I make progress in Indonesian much faster than I hoped or imagined. A choice that really I do not regret.
