I'm a bahasa Indonesia tutor with over 10 years of teaching experiences including 4 years of teaching online. I hold a master degree on language learning and teaching from a reputable university in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. With my experiences and educational background, I hope I can help you enjoy your bahasa Indonesia learning journey. I'm friendly and open to any kinds of learners and easy to adapt with the characteristics of them. Hope to see you in my lessons.

I also love learning languages so I know the easiest way to learn a language. The class will be fun as I'll give you lessons based on your needs and learning goals. In each meeting, I'll provide a material to learn and we can practice using the language both spoken and written. I'm flexible and adaptive. After hundreds of lessons I had thought, I experience that every learner has unique learning style(s). Therefore, I always adjust my teaching style to my students' characters. So, they can achieve whatever their learning goals are.

Hesti is a good teacher Bahasa Indonesia. This was the first lesson through Italki, but i've had many lessons from her in the past through another provider. She is always cheerful and very motivating. I can now hold a conversation fairly well in Indonesian without feeling insecure, thanks to Hesti!

Really happy after my first lesson with Hesti. She quicky assessed my level and provided me appropriate materials and lesson structure. I learnt some new grammar theory and she gave actionable feedback on my pronunciation. Her personality is fun and engaging. I will definitely continue with her lessons.

Folks, Hesti is without a doubt the best Indonesian instructor I have encountered and I have been studying Indonesian for two years. She is professional, patient, and brings just the right amount of energy to the session. She is credentialed so she charges more, but it's worth it because you are learning faster. Don't hesitate to book a block of classes with her, you will not be disappointed!

Terima kasih, Hesti! I am a beginner trying to learn Bahasa Indonesia in a short time frame before traveling to Indonesia, and she was super engaging, kind, fun, and a great teacher. Hesti is a fantastic teacher, and the lessons seem to fly by. I get to practice real conversations with her, and she helps me to understand the different ways people use Bahasa here. From formal to Gaul she is helping me to sound more authentic and natural! I really enjoy my lessons with Hesti and I highly recommend her to new and experienced students!
