The monsters on the holidays

I like to eat some vegetables and drinking water, the salads is very common for me eating during the week.

My kids are going to have a summer holiday after school. I need to to cook delicious meals for them, plan to learn English with them and take them out... But sometimes I am so lazy to do these things because they are not my habits. I have a chance to be more intimate with my kids but a challenge to do things perfectly.

My friend is Yoko who will move to another place soon. another friend, Kaori asked me to make a video message for her. I'm shy and I'm not good at video messages and streamed the video at the farewell party. I imagined Sean and I felt embarrassed. However, I appreciate her and we made a great memory. I'm going to be brave. Even if I'm not good at the situation, I want to make her pleasant. Love changed my mind. It gets over the big wall.

Ugh, gray skies today, just like my mood! Mom's been complaining to Dad about a leak in the wall on our balcony. Water's been seeping out of the corner, and there's even mold growing expansively. We figured it must be a pipe leaking inside the wall behind the faucet. Dad even prepped the tools – a huge drill, hammer, the works – ready to open it up. But guess what? This morning, the spot, the puddle and little streams around had completely dried up. What the heck? How can a leak just stop leaking on its own? We can't just smash open the wall on a hunch, right? Maybe it's a one-time thing due to the rain hopefully. We'll have to figure out what's going on before we take any action.

My hometown is in the northwest of China. It is not a big city with the population of just over 250 thousands. It used to play an important role on the ancient Silk Road, so now it is known for its long history and rich culture. The weather is so different from Shanghai where I live now, it is dry and has little rain all over the year, with four distinct seasons. I moved to Shanghai for college many years ago, and I chose to work in Shanghai after graduation for more job opportunities. But some of my classmates also went back to hometown for a steady and easier life. They often chose to work as a civil servant in hometown which is a decent job, but also because there was not many job choices in a small city. My parents are still live in hometown, every time I went back I felt a earth-taking change was happening, the speed of development is so fast. I hope my hometown can get better and better.
