Sure! Here's a short motivational message in the tone of a speaker on stage: --- "Good morning, champions!" Let me remind you of something powerful: you were not born to be average. Every setback you've faced? It's not a wall — it's a stepping stone. Every doubt you’ve heard? Let it fuel your fire. You don’t need the perfect background, the perfect timing, or anyone’s approval. You just need to show up — every day — with discipline, heart, and hunger. Don’t wait for motivation. BE the motivation. Push harder. Get louder. Go further. Because your future? It’s watching what you do today. So get up. Own your power. And go make history. --- Let me know if you want it in Amharic, Spanish, or another style — like a calm tone or for students, athletes, or entrepreneurs.

🕒 Simple Past Struggles? You’re Not Alone! Something I notice a lot, even with intermediate English learners, is how tricky the simple past can be, especially in the negative form. In positive sentences, it’s intuitive: ✔ I knew about the meeting. ✔ We watched a movie. ✔ She called me yesterday. But in the negative… suddenly it changes! ❌ I didn’t knew about the meeting. ← Oops! ✔ I didn’t know about the meeting. ✅ ❌ I didn’t watched the movie. ← Oops! ✔ I didn’t watch the movie. ✅ ❌ She didn’t called me yesterday. ← Oops! ✔ She didn’t call me yesterday ✅ Even though the action is in the past, after “didn’t,” we go back to the base form of the verb (think of the infinitive form). 🕰️ didn’t know (to know) 🕰️ didn’t watch (to watch) 🕰️ didn’t call (to call) Today, this clicked for one of my students. It’s such a simple rule, but easy to miss! 💬 How about you? Have you ever mixed up past tense negatives? Drop an example below (correct or incorrect) and let's chat about it. 😄

Today, I went to Costco for the first time since I recently moved into my new place. Because of the move, there were so many things I needed to buy, so I was really looking forward to shopping there. As soon as I walked into the store, I felt overwhelmed by how huge it was and how many different products they had. It was exciting, but at the same time, I had to remind myself not to get carried away and buy unnecessary items. One of the most important things I needed was a mattress for my bed. I had been sleeping on a temporary setup, so finally getting a proper mattress felt like a big step toward making my new home comfortable. After looking through the different sizes and types, I found one that seemed perfect. Besides the mattress, I also bought a lot of food since Costco is famous for selling groceries in bulk. It felt practical to stock up on essentials, especially since I want to save time on frequent shopping trips. By the time I finished, my cart was completely full, and it felt like I had really taken another step toward settling into my new life.
