This lesson looks at the length of time that finding a new job can take and the reasons for it. Students will listen to three people in different jobs discuss the issue and read an article which examines the problem. Exercises focus on vocabulary related to finding jobs, listening and reading skills, and students will have the opportunity to discuss questions related to the topic. This group lesson is for adult English students (B2-C1) who want to speak about a specific topic with a professional teacher and other students from all over the world! We will start by doing a warm-up game, work in pairs, and discuss the chosen topic. Please note: This group class is for students between the levels of B2-C1. Please read the worksheet and complete the tasks before the lesson starts. I will ask my students to read the article so please be prepared. The goal of each lesson is to discuss a specific topic, expand vocabulary, and improve the student's confidence as an English speaker in a relaxed and fun environment. Since this is a business class, I encourage each student to speak openly with other students. Ask questions and share your opinions! Due to this being a group lesson, students will not be corrected individually. Instead, collective corrections will be noted and sent to each student at the end of the class.
