INTRODUCTION: Looking for a cool, comfy space to enjoy some easy-going conversation? Yeah. It’s practice, but who says we have to call it that? Here, just be yourself as you chat with other great people about simple topics of your choice that you let flow naturally, taking them in any direction you choose based on what you say and ask. Need a little help? There's a menu with a bunch of topics to choose from, along with a sheet of things to say and ask about any of them. Oh, and the lounge owner (aka Teacher) may butt-in every now and then to give some input, corrections or suggestions and take any orders (aka questions) you have. So, whether you’re a natural born conversationalist or not, you’re invited to drop by the English Lounge as much as you’d like. IN THIS CLASS: You will engage in easy-going conversations about a variety of simple topics of your choice that you let naturally flow according to what you say and questions you ask and answer about them in pairs or trios in private rooms. THIS CLASS IS FOR: (1) Those 18 years old and older. (2) Those who want to engage in easy-going conversations on simple topics of your choice. (3) Those who want to practice conversation in a cool, comfy safe space. MATERIALS NEEDED: English Lounge Student Pack: • Conversation Leads Sheet • Menu (Topic Suggestions) PREPARATION: (1) Go over the English Lounge: Conversation Leads Sheet before class to get ideas of things you can say and ask about any of the topics you will discuss in class. (2) Go over the English Lounge: Menu before class for suggestions of topics to discuss. (3) Decide the name you prefer the teacher and group members to call you during the session, and enter it as your Display Name on Zoom.

You will sharpen your ability to engage in easy-going conversations by sharing your thoughts and opinions and asking and answering questions about simple topics of your choice following a natural flow.
