日本の給食

みなさん、こんにちは。ところで、日本の給食を知っていますか。
日本の公立の小学校では、給食を食べることができます。小学校の給食は1食200円弱で栄養満点（えいようまんてん）のものが提供（ていきょう）されています。一時期、海外でも話題になったようです。
私が考える日本の給食の、すごい点がいくつかあるのでご紹介します。
まず、1か月に同じメニューが出ることはほとんどないんです。献立（こんだて）は、和食、洋食、中華、多国籍料理（たこくせきりょうり）とメニューの量が豊富です。すごいですよね。当然ですが、カロリー計算もされていますし、アレルギー成分表も毎回提示（まいかいていじ）されています。なので、アレルギーがあると事前に申告（しんこく）しておくと、別の物が提供されるんです。
そして、食材は常に旬（しゅん）の物が取り入れられているんです。おまけに、その食材は地域で生産されているものを使うことが多いようです。今は9月ですから、娘の学校では、フルーツになしが出るようです。そして、魚のサバが、今から冬にかけて旬になるということで、「さばのあまからあげ」というのが、メニューに入りました。
次に、すごいなと思うことは、給食の配膳（はいぜん）とあと片付け（かたづけ）は子供たちがするということです。各（かく）クラスに提供されたご飯を子供たちで分けて食べるんです。ご飯のよそい方、お味噌汁の入れ方、お皿への盛（も）りつけ方も給食の時間に学ぶことができます。そして、食べきれずに捨（す）てることになってしまった食材の捨て方も学びます。なので、目の前で捨てられるご飯を見て「残すのはもったいない」と自然に学ぶようになります。高学年の子供たちになると、「給食を残さずに食べよう」ということで、いろんな企画（きかく）をします。給食委員会というのがあって、給食を楽しんでもらうために、給食のメニューについて話したり、音楽をかけたり、ポスターを作ったりするようです。
給食の時間はもちろん先生も一緒です。先生も子供たちの様子（ようす）を見ながら食事してくれます。なので、安心です。
小学校の給食、最高ですよね。
最近は、中学校でも給食を提供しようという風潮（ふうちょう）になってきたみたいです。なので、給食を提供するようになった自治体（じちたい）が多くなってきています。
給食を提供してくれると、親もとても楽です。だって、1日最低1食は栄養バランスの取れた食事が保証（ほしょう）されているですから。
ちなみに今日の娘の給食メニューは、「ごはん、ごましお、ぎゅうにゅう、マーボーなす、あおなときのこのスープ」のようです。
