Muchas veces estas palabras no son las palabras típicas, o convencionales que aprendes en los libros de texto, pero son muy usadas en el día a día por los nativos. En este episodio te hablo de algunas palabras coloquiales en español que no encuentras en los libros de texto, y que además de ser muy usadas son bastante graciosas.

A good starting point is job-specific skills, but personal skills are also worth looking into. For example, if you find it difficult to cope under pressure, you may want to look into ​self-management. Communication is another area worth considering. You may want to look at, not only how you express yourself, but also your ability to ​actively listen when others are talking and incorporate their feedback and ideas into what you do. 今日も大阪から撮っています。
今日も大阪は暑そうです。

みなさんは、万博(ばんぱく)という言葉を、聞いたことがありますか？正式には、国際博覧会(こくさいはくらんかい)、万国博覧会(ばんこくはくらんかい)です。

英語だとUniversal Expositionと言うそうです。
日本ではEXPO、としか聞くことしかないので、この英語での言い方ははじめてしりました。


次のEXPOは、2025年に大阪で開催(かいさい)されます。
そして、この万博で使われるキャラクターが公募の中から決まりました。

今年3月にキャラクターが決まりました。
そして、先日には、愛称(あいしょう)も決まりました。

愛称はミャクミャクです。
(もしよければ、大阪万博、ミャクミャクなどと検索してみてください。絵を見ながら聞いた方がわかりやすいと思います)

先に形の説明をします。

細胞と水がひとつになったことで生まれた、ふしぎな生き物。その正体は不明だそうです。
 赤い部分は「細胞」で、分かれたり、増えたりします。 また、青い部分は「清い水」で、流れる様に形を変えることができます。
 今の姿は、なりたい自分を探して、いろんな形に姿を変えているようで、人間をまねた姿、だそうです。


そして、決まった名前は、ミャクミャクです。

日本では、長い期間、文化や歴史、思想などを受け継いでいくことを、"脈々"と受け継ぐ、などと表現します。

私たち人間のDNA、知恵と技術、歴史や文化。
変幻自在なキャラクターは更にあらゆる可能性をその身に宿して、私たち人間の素晴らしさをこれからも「脈々」と未来に受け継いでいってほしい。
 そんな希望を込めて「脈々＝ミャクミャク」と名付けました。
 またミャク＝脈であり、生命そのもの。ミャクミャクという2音が続く様は、血液が流れ、命が続いている音でもあります。


キャラクターだけを見ると、変な形をしていますので、はじめは少しおどろきます。でも、何度か見るとこれはこれで、クセになる、変に気になる、記憶に残るキャラクターです。
