What did you do during the new year holidays? In my case, I went to Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi prefecture near Mt.Fuji with friends. We had a year end party there and watched the first time sunrise without sleeping. It was deep in the mountains so I drove along a mountain road. Finally, the new year has arrived. Japanese people have a custom of going to a shrine within three days of the new year. Of course I also prayed at the shrine and drew a fortune. Fortunately, I received a lot of new year's gifts this year. By the way, I will take the TOEIC test this month and next month. That's why I need to balance studying English and doing schoolwork. And I have plans to travel to Singapore for the first time in my life in March. I am looking forward to go to there. I don't know what kind of year 2024 will be, but I hope it will be a good year.
