Today was busy, but it turned out to be a fulfilling day. I woke up a little later than usual and had to rush through my morning routine. It was extremely cold, and walking outside from the morning was tough, but the weather was clear, so I still felt in a good mood. In my first-period class, we learned about cruise ships. I was glad to hear stories that I normally don’t get the chance to hear. In my second-period French class, I was happy because lately I’ve been able to answer the teacher’s questions correctly more often on my own. During lunch break, I talked with a friend I hadn’t seen in a while. Even though we go to the same university, it feels lonely that we hardly meet when we don’t have any classes together. After school, I didn’t have a shift, but I went to my workplace to see my friends from my part-time job. I really love spending time with them because talking with them helps me forget stressful things and just enjoy the moment. It seems like I’ll be entering a busy season soon, but we were able to make plans for a drinking get-together, so I’m looking forward to that. For dinner, I ate udon that my brother brought back from Kagawa as a souvenir. Since it was such a cold day, the warm udon really warmed both my body and my heart. I’m going to sleep early tonight and get ready for tomorrow.
