2024/4/26 An Insurance company normally provides services for you to insure your property or something like that. The greater the risk the insurance company makes, the greater the premium you have to pay. The reputation of the insurance industry has been ruined by a lot of controversial cases which tends to put off the man in the street from buying any insurance. I used to purchase one kind of insurance from a well-known company, but I don’t have it now, because I deem it useless. Maybe I’m wrong and most Chinese, including me, don’t believe in sales where they always tell you the pros but not the cons. I have heard a type of insurance where, if you pay the insurance for 1 or 2 decades consecutively, not only you will be insured in the period, but you will gain the total money back at the end of the contract as well. It’s a kind of saving insurance. I disagree with it thoroughly because I don’t believe (Or: I'm sceptical) that any company would do you a favor while they aren't making money.
