I finished reading a book I found in my house some weeks ago. I have some mixed thoughts about it. It reminded me of some other books I’ve read before. They are dystopians. The book seems to fit in the genre. Some children were shipwrecked and survived in an island. There are mysteries and many symbolisms in it. The prose is captivating; the author steadily immerses the reader in the book's world. It is page-turning for me. Therefore, I do believe it is a pretty good book. However, it had a very bitter-sweet ending, and many eerie moments.
