We had “letter books” when I was in kindergarten at 5 years old, one for each letter of the alphabet. I still have all of them, and that was 27 years ago. 😮

The Little Prince. I read this book long time ago and all I remember is the illustration of that snake with an elephant inside.

The first I read cover to cover was Animal Farm by George Orwell, I started reading english very late actually haha
