Giáo viên chuyên nghiệpSlang words 😜 #moreфон2020 🌊
You’ve probably come across English slang on social media. The language people speak in everyday life is so different from the language we study. The best way to learn slang expressions is by watching movies or reading your friends’ posts on Facebook. If you don’t have any English speaking friends yet, you gotta find some 🧐 I’m really lucky to have friends who regularly update me on the latest slang expressions. But for them, my vocabulary would be lacking 😅
I can give you some examples:
🔹to bamboozle - to cheat or fool;
🔹pissed - BrE drunk, AmE really mad;
🔹bummed - depressed;
🔹dope - cool;
🔹bonkers - crazy, wild.
Do you use slang in your speech sometimes? I do, I always try my best to avoid slang when I talk to my students 😉 They all love slang though, especially the kiddos 👧🏼👦🏽
P.S. I don’t have much mental/emotional energy these days, but I see your likes and read your comments. I’ll try my best to catch up later ❤️
