The sun is shining today, and the temperature has been gradually rising. I guess winter here is finally coming to an end. This morning, my MeeMaw excitedly came to take us to a circus. It was part of the annual fair, and if we had missed it, we would have had to wait until next year to see it again. The show was absolutely amazing; watching stunts on TV and seeing them live are completely different experiences. I shrieked when one of the clowns almost slipped off the string in the air (it’s called a tightrope) , I thought he might fall to his doom. It was really heart-pounding! Then it happened again and again; he was risking his life to entertain the audience. That was crazy! And as per the old cliche, the magician conjured a rabbit after summoning some pigeons, then pulled out ribbons from a tall hat. Even though we all knew it was a trick, it still looked magical and convincing. In the end, I even caught a balloon when a clown was randomly tossing them while riding a unicycle. These incredible performers made my day!
