Hi! My native language is Russian. And I study English and French. To practice my English I watch YouTube video and listen to podcasts in English. To improve my motivation I select topics I need to discover instead of standard topics for studying. For example, I’m going to visit France and I’d like to explore it. So, I watch videos about this country in English. I’m interested it and I don’t notice how to watch several 20-minutes videos a day. I couldn’t do such results with studying video because I wasn’t really interested in some topics. And honestly some of them are boring. To practice my reading skills I read news in English. But sometimes this way is hard for me because of a great number of new words. But it’s great way to improve vocabulary which the native speakers use in everyday life. And I’ve started studying French about two months ago. I like memorise new French words with Duolingo app. It looks like game, but I notice that even after such shot period I define familiar words in French songs.
