Hi! I came across an article about energy, and I'm having trouble understanding the message conveyed in the last paragraph, even after using machine translation. 😥 I think my difficulty understanding it stems from my limited knowledge in the area of social and environmental themes.
The article discussed mainly about clean energy's impact on "climate change and extreme poverty", but in last paragraph, I failed to know what the author tried to conclude.
There are three things mentioned, "addressing emissions from energy production", "energy poverty" and "clmate change". Does the author want to say the most important thing is to continue addressing emissions from energy production? (My comprehension is terrible😨)

It is easy to see how you might have trouble understanding this excerpt. It is filled with "buzzwords". Do you know that term? It is similar to "jargon". Heavy use of jargon makes things hard to understand. When you use buzzwords, people not familiar with your buzz terms will struggle to understand you. A lot of political talk is replete with buzz words. The people who agree already know what your terms mean but the terms fail you if you want try to convince people who do not agree with you. Business talk also uses much jargon.
"Energy poverty" is a term I am not familiar with. I am sure it means something specific to certain people, but not being a member of that in group, I am left in the dark.
"Climate change" is a term I recognize easily, but it will be heard differently by different people. People having certain points of view will interpret it in certain ways, but other people with another point of view will interpret it another way. In a literal sense, it means "change in climate", which is simple for anyone to understand. However, people mean more than that when they use the term, so it has become politically loaded.
"Clean energy" and "dirty energy" are similar terms. Personally, I know of no form of energy production that is clean. Wind farms, for example, kill birds and make the countryside and seashores ugly.
"Interlinkages" is a needlessly complicated word. A much simpler word, like "links" would say the same thing. When people use words like that it shows they are trying to be smart. "Binaries" is another phony word. The sentence that contains these two words is a perfect example of pretentious writing.

I found that this is not the real "last patagraph" in this article, but it still confuses me after reading it entirely. Why is it diffficult to locate the central message, or maybe it doesn't exist? The information is unclear 🙁https://www.un.org/en/un-chronicle/navigating-intersection-climate-action-clean-energy-and-poverty-eradication

the author is writing nonsense to get the money
and you are reading his nonsense believing it makes sense
the key idea is
"climate change means nothing to people who want to show off and earn more money"
