Ei Ei shwe zin
I'm attending at Wall street English school. It's been about one week since I joined. I'm really finding it difficult to understand what native teachers are talking about especially when they speak too fast and I can't keep up with them. Maybe it's because it's my first time or will I get used to it?

You will get used to it. When we’re listening to a foreign language, it’s perfectly normal for it to seem to be going too fast. It takes more time, especially at first, for our minds to process a different language from our own, even if we know the grammar and the meanings of the words. It will get easier as time goes on. Try to find opportunities to talk with people individually in English. It’s easier to understand a foreign language in a personal conversation than it is when you’re listening to a lecture. Ask your teachers after class about things you didn’t understand. Talk with the other students after class, in English. Several people here on italki have asked for people to practice English with them. Contact them with a private message and schedule a time to meet and talk on Zoom or some similar program. Hire a native tutor here on italki if it’s not too expensive. Judging from your message here, your English is good enough to talk with native speakers. It takes courage to try to speak a foreign language because you know you will make mistakes. Do it anyway!
