Recently I read a paper about driverless cars. These cars do not have to be driven because they are self-driving. In this paper, the authors present many advantages of driverless cars over traditional ones. One of them is the reduction of accidental events because they have software that can prevent accidents by reducing speed or exchanging information/data with other similar cars. On the other hand, according with the paper driverless cars use engines more efficiently and from the data exchange exchange, they can reduce traffic. Finally, the article talks about the driver's time and presents driverless cars as an example of time wasted during driving and, instead, people could do other activities, for instance reading or listening to music.
