Gia sư cộng đồng🌟 DAY 17/30: The 'SELF' Hindi Challenge 🌟
नमस्ते (Namaste)! 🙏
As we move forward with our challenge, let's learn a word that is absolutely essential for expressing your desires, making plans, or ordering food at a restaurant.
Today’s Word: चाहिए (Chahiye)
Meaning: Want / Need / Should
How to use it: "मुझे पानी चाहिए।"
(Mujhe paani chahiye.) "I want water."
💡 TEACHER'S TIP: Unlike English, where you change the verb based on who is speaking ("I want," "He wants"), चाहिए (Chahiye) stays exactly the same!
However, notice a small magic trick with the grammar: instead of saying Main (I), we say मुझे (Mujhe), which means "to me."
So, "Mujhe paani chahiye" literally means "To me, water is wanted."
📝 YOUR CHALLENGE: Let's practice making a request! Think of one thing you need right now (e.g., Chai, Coffee, Madad [Help], or Break).
Write a sentence in the comments using:
"मुझे [___] चाहिए।"
Give it a shot, and I will check your sentences right here! 👇
