I am starting to learn Thai and have been trying to focus heavily on pronunciation along with the writing system first before getting to vocabulary, meanings and grammer. The reason eing is I have heard that it is difficult to get good at these later on so I want to get it sorted now. The teachers you're looking for might not see your post here. I would suggest that you look through the Thai teachers, find some that interest you, and then send them messages asking if they use the IPA in their classes.
