If I go to a restaurant, I eat there. But then I find I cannot finish all the food. I would like to take away the rest food, what should I say to the waiter? Can I say I would like to take the food away? I know a saying called take away or eat here. But if I choose to eat here, and then take away the rest food, can I still say I would like take away food? Thank you for your help.

You can say “Can I have this take away please”” or “Can I have a take-away box please?”

"food" is unnatural. Here, some restaurants will give you a box. The more expensive ones will take your leftovers away and bring them back in an appropriate container.
Can I have a box for the leftovers? (If the customer puts the leftovers in the container)
Can you wrap up my leftovers? (If the restaurant does it)
I'd like to take the rest home, please. (If I don't know how the restaurant does it)

In the US they might use the term 'to wrap' or 'wrapped'. I was in Texas about twenty years ago and was at a restaurant with a friend. She had some pasta, ate about half of it and asked for the rest to be wrapped. I had a bif slice of cheesecake and only ate part of it. Another way of saying it would be 'Could you wrap this for me, please?'

'Can I take this food to go?'
It's basically a 'to go box'
That's what we'd say in the United States.
